SIA “Human Source” to select candidates for new board of “Rīgas satiksme”
„Rīgas satiksme” has signed a cooperation contract with personnel selection company SIA “Human Source”, which will be assigned with the task of selecting candidates for the new board of “Rīgas satiksme”. “Rīgas satiksme” also set up the board selection and nomination commission, which will have to choose the company’s new board consisting of five members.
The board selection and nomination commission will include three members of the “Rīgas satiksme” Council, the head of the Business Support Section of the Property Department of Riga City Council, the director of the Transport Department of Riga City Council, the head of the Personnel and Internal Control Section of the Administrative Directorate of the Transport Department of Riga City Council, and a representative delegated by the Latvian Association of Passenger Carriers.
It is planned that five members for the new board of “Rīgas satiksme” may be selected until December 31, 2019.
As reported earlier, following the decision of its Council, “Rīgas satiksme” announced a tender to choose a personnel selection company that will select candidates to the new board of “Rīgas satiksme”. The deadline for the tender was set on September 19, 2019. Three personnel selection companies applied in total, and the main criterion in the tender was the economic advantageousness of the offer.
